UKIEA has ran successful summer camp programs since 2005 which consists of two sections: ‘Experience China’ and ‘Experience UK’. ‘Experience China’ involves organising voluntary native speakers to teach English in China; ‘Experience UK’ provides young Chinese students opportunities to learn English and experience the UK first-hand.
“Experience China” is a collaboration with the Chinese Educational Development Project (CEDP), which provides British volunteers to teach English in Colleges and Schools in the summer in different parts of China. This program can offer participants the opportunity to have first-hand lifestyle and culture experiences of China. This program can also offer British volunteer teachers and their Chinese students the opportunity to learn more about each other’s culture.
